It's generally very easy to keep your bathroom and kitchen fixtures nice and clean. Follow these quick and simple steps to ensure that your faucet continues to look great:
In most cases, a soft damp cloth will keep your products looking like new for years to come. Lightly soak the cloth with warm, soapy water and clean your faucet regularly. This will help clear away minor buildup and light spots.
If you’re still seeing buildup or if you’re having difficulty removing water spots and/or stains, try adding a 50/50 blend of household vinegar with water, followed by rinsing with water and drying with a soft cloth.
If you’re still seeing buildup after that, you may need to use a mild liquid dish-washing soap, followed by rinsing with water and drying with a soft cloth.
Avoid using harsh cleaners like polish, detergents, abrasive cleaners, organic solvents or any product that has acid in it. This could damage the finish which may nullify your warranty. It’s also wise to avoid using pads or sponges that are unsafe for polished metallic surfaces. Most green, fibrous pads and sponges contain microscopic mineral particles that can scratch your faucet’s finish.
If you have a matte or textured finish, we suggest to periodically use a quality furniture polish for general cleaning. Alternatively, a non-abrasive wax like car wax or furniture wax may be used. Furniture polish or wax may result in a slight color change, but will not harm the finish. We recommend to test your polish or wax on a less visible surface first.
